In Pakistan, we have a history of going back to 4000 BC, when in Meher Garh we started wheel throne pottery, some 1500 years prior to the Persians. Indus valley was the cradle of arts and crafts contemporary to Egypt and Mesopotamia. Pakistani craftsmen have shown their excellence while working in stone, wood, clay, metal, making block work, lacquer work, glazed work, applic, carpets, architectural designs, to name a few.
